I'm Michael Siddiqi. I live in Oslo, Norway, where I build products for the web.
My passion lies at the intersection of health and technology.
I started my professional journey in the health field with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science. While working in that space, I began building websites in 2014 — an experience that sparked a deeper interest in SEO, website performance, and user-centric design.
At the onset of the COVID pandemic, I decided to fully transition into software development. I committed to deep self-study through books, online courses, and building personal projects. Over time, I supplemented my learning with 100+ hours of private tutoring and continued growing through hands-on work, mentorship, and team collaboration.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to impactful, large-scale projects, including:
- Flytoget – Norway’s airport express train service
- Salita – A language services platform
- iBønn & iFaste – Islamic utility apps used by 10,000+ daily users
I thrive in fast-paced environments, stay endlessly curious, and continuously strive to grow both as a developer and as a person.
